The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Warriors Group

Since the launch of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a wide array of heroes, and a gripping narrative including celestial beings, demons, and malevolent powers growing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and revealed the first table of characters who will split off from the central cast to embark on their separate journey, separate from the additional parties.

This warrior group consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis), Thimble (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, weaving together the personal journeys before branching into three smaller tables: Fighters, Planners, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

Per the DM, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who are drawn to a traditionally charged fight-heavy narrative style where diplomatic options are rare.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem unsuited, but the events of the third episode demonstrate why these particular heroes are best suited for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team knows exactly where to go next after a brutal first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose passing started the campaign’s events—used the foes for his selfish purposes, breaking into the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and taking all the enchanted items to auction.

The antagonist then cleared his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the remote area, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a individual motive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, seeks revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the northern area and advises that it is a nasty environment.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to kill the fighter and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • But, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could help the group reach areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The grateful character pledged a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the powers that control Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • The warrior and The cleric betrayed House Halovar and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This means them no alternative but to head to Timmony in search of Casimir.

What’s Next?

According to episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table will be absent the following episode, leaving the rest of the players to assemble the Questers and Planners groups.

Audiences can look forward to learning which players will be assigned to which table in the season’s last Overture episode, available to watch on October 24.
